Hey guys,

I have purchased 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 Michelin PSS to go on my 07' E92. I will be mounting them on 8.5" +30 and 10" +37 Linea Corse wheels.

Even though I don't track the car I love doing spirited driving and am afraid that if i go to 235's then that will increase understeer to much

I plan on lowering the car with ST Coilovers (~.5 in) and adding M3 front bits (~ -1.5 camber) and am wondering if the fronts will even fit? Would you guys recommend me returning the 245's for 235's or will I be okay with the 245's in the front?

235/35/19s up front shouldn't be a problem, but the 275s in the rear may rub once you're lowered.

I think the 245 should be fine if you dont plan on dropping too much. I have stock suspension + m3 control arms on 18x9 ET31. I got on 245/35/18 very comfortably on the car. Being 19", I think you might have to go with 235 in the front unless you get more camber. Good Luck!!

Front will rub on the oil cooler vent with 245's
Rears you will be extremely close to rubbing

I have the same setup in the front, planning to remove the vent if I can't push it forward permanently by like 2cm. My rears have slightly more aggressive offsets (ET33) but the tires aren't as stretched since it is only 9,5" wide, in the end you will probably not even rub.

Btw, I haven't touched my cambers.

With your wheel offset of ET30, another option is to run 255/30/19 up front. They're not as tall so it'll fit and help minimize understeer with the reduced stagger.

For the rears I would have no problem rolling fenders so I'm hoping that will be enough to avoid the rubbing in the rear. Other than the vent, any other times where it's rubbing? Are you lowered at all?

This is interesting. I've never heard of anybody running with this setup on an e92. How close in diameter would the tires be with this setup?

Looking to make a decision on what to do soon as I have until the end of this week to request an exchange from The Tire Rack.

I'm lowered on H&R sport, there is a tiny finger gap in the front, and it only rubs when I turn the wheel all the way to the left (which is when it is hitting the vent).

Go with the 245/35 its a pretty easy fit. Even with my 10" rim upfront with probably more aggressive offsets then anyone on here I use the 245/35 and it really doesn't need insane amounts of camber. Although that can differ in opinion. I guess

This is a more track oriented setup, but it's been done. You may need a little extra camber by pulling your strut pins. Take a look at the following thread for reference. Although it refers to 17" wheels, it's still applicable here.

Here's the difference in diameter between a 245/35 and a 255/30

With a 245/30 275/30 setup, the front tires are 0.25" taller than the rear.
With a 255/30 275/30 setup. the front tires are 0.48" shorter than the rear. Not a big deal, a stock m3 also runs the same sidewall profile front/rear.

In essence, you trade a little sidewall thickness for more width. Thought I'd throw a new wrench in there

I will keep the 245's and hopefully find a way to make them fit. Worst case scenario I can sell them practically brand new. Will update the thread when I get them on.

were you able to fit those 245's up front? I have 235 PSS's and wished I had 245's

245 PSS up front on stock 19" 313's (and 275 in rear) on stock ZSP suspension:



They don't rub in the back with stock offsets - in fact I could space them out if I wanted to. Fronts used to rub on the upper fender edge in reverse only when they were new. Now that they are nicely worn in, there's no more rubbing.

Haven't had the chance to put them on yet as I'm still waiting on the wheels that I ordered. Hopefully within the next few weeks!

This is reassuring as I'm looking for a similar drop with these tires.

I will update the thread when I throw these on and hopefully include some pics as well.
