It does have a decent weight to it. Its is also shorter than the standard one so does feel slightly better to use.

If you can, try and get one with the BMW short shifter kit, I'd love one but they dont do one for my car

I have a Jaffster Delrin shift knob and the BMW Performance alcantara boot. This shift knob is taller than the stock one which means less distance to cover from the steering wheel when shifting.
