Ya I know they try and drag it out as long as possible hoping you will just give up so they don't have to pay... I'm glad they ended up settling with you though.

Thanks man, I submitted yesterday the claim and it happened yesterday afternoon. I have to take the rims off the car because the inside of the rims were bent. I am planning on doing that tonight if time permits and sending in the pics.

....How are you liking the x? I still have to put those midpipes on I got off you, I'm dying to see how it sounds.

Did they ask you to submit pictures? I am gonna take them this weekend and send them in but I have to get the tires and rims fixed. This is my daily driver and I don't wanna hear them say after 'oh we wanted to see them in person'.

I can't leave the car in the driveway for however long they take to pay.

Yes, take pics for sure and it would also help if the receipt of repair states that damage was was due to a pothole... Keep us posted !

Update:

Sent the pictures, quotes and mechanic notes alomst 2 weeks ago today along with several emails asking for a confirmation they have recieved the stuff. I have not gotten a reply yet.

I am not upset, I know they play the stalling game, but does anyone have advice how I can turn up the heat?

UPDATE:

The city agreed to cover the costs of the damages last week. Just thought I would give the heads up if anyone else ran over a pot hole.

Hey I'm currently in a similar situation.

It occurred twice actually both times in York Region.

And both was caused due to construction.

It wasn't only me that was effected either, I saw a honda with Volks get launched by the messed up pavement cut and he later came by to tell me his wheels were completely destroyed.

I ended up filing a claim a couple months later because I didn't hit it that bad but I still ended up getting a vibration.

However they rejected the claim because it was over 15 days.

Then I submitted a follow up claim for something that occurred a couple days prior and the insurance people that handle these things are asking me to come in to their office to chat.

I dunno but I guess they are gonna settle.

Will keep you guys updated.
