I have the first one....I don't even recall the suspension...
In any case, today is D-Day for whatever catalog was advertised in this thread.

Whats up bro, ED is the way to go. Whatever the price is, one thing you can be assured of is you are getting the very lowest possible price and the experience is awesome Man that wait for the Kassel was brutal though. Us guys with 335i's got a double long wait once the ship made port because the cars were sent without the software update but they wouldn't release them until it was done. Next time we should get the car at least a week sooner like the 7's and 5's did. Anyway, overall I am loving the car. No major problems yet and still on the origional HPFP. Nice to hear from you. How's the car been treating you? I still can never get enough of that sig of yours BTW |

I forget what the BMWCCA rebate is on the M3 -- it might be different for the E90 M anyway.

Heres what I am thinking the numbers will be for a fairly stripped club sport 335i if such an animal ever materializes and assuming it has a LSD, upgraded engine tune, suspension, brakes and some cosmetic mods such as exclusive paint color, interior tidbits etc. First off I would only price it in coupe form not sedan since the M3 will origionally only be available in that version I believe and I am also pricing as a Step since that is a basic option most folks want, even hardcore enthusiast. Also, looking at what they would likely price this package I am willing to bet it would be no cheaper than 7000.00, no where near 2000-3000. So the current base ED invoice price of a e92 335i is 34,740. I'm adding 1100over invoice since I think 1000 over on a brand new model is unlikely and we should probably use 1250 but 1100 is okay. Also there will most likely be a base price increase so again, if anything this estimate is significantly too low. 34,740 Base Price 1100 Dealer Profit 1210 Steptronic 695 Destination/Shipping 7000 Club Sport Package 44,745 pre-tax and title so in California if you want to buy for cash OTD you will be looking at over 50,000 which will still be a very good deal |

I'm sticking with 4 doors and a manual...
I don't think 7k would fly (ZHP in the E46 and M-sport in Euro are closer to half that), but if you throw in a LSD that would be close.

Hey, off topic is better than no topic, plus we are discussing the reported performance upgrades that schneid said were in the catalogue so it's not really OT.
The day is still young and I believe schneid will still come through (call me an optimist). Think of these "OT" discussions as Bumps to keep the thread towards the top |
