^ Nice work yet again, I really like that blue. Do you have any tips for perfectly wrapping the shark fin?

Not a great pic, but this is how it looked when I gave it to my wife. Originally silver, wrapped in Hexis Kiwi Green gloss and 3M 1080 CF roof. Green CF wrapped mirrors.

BTW, any tips from the experts on the front fender edges? The tires rub a tiny bit and it's ripping the vinyl away from the back edge a tiny bit. Do you just cut it on the edge so the back of the fender is uncovered and that way the tire doesn't hit it?

I miss my gloss lime green!

Tip would be to roll your fenders if you do rub

Not a BMW, but I did the console on my FX. Tired of looking at the black plastic. It's 3M Scotchprint brushed titanium which almost perfectly matches the OEM trim.

Also, question about applying vinyl to new paint. Sadly, the 335 was hit in the parking lot of my son's daycare a few days ago (somehow, the other person didn't see it). It's at the shop now being fixed, but they said I'd have to wait either 30 or 60 days for the paint to cure before I could rewrap. Any tips on how long it actually takes? They weren't 100% positive since they don't know vinyl, they just know that it's recommended for 30 days before clear film gets installed. I want to wait the proper time, but 2 months seems a bit long.

Please don't tell me your not going to keep the car stockish looking with this colour as you did with your flat black previous cars

I've never wrapped a car that's been freshly painted or even re-painted.

Vinyl needs time to adhere to the surface as well except that it only takes 4-5+ days

Cause I'm like Yoda, Jedi Master

It's double-sided taped down. You can use fishing line or trim tools to get under.

Almost done. I need to black out my chrome window trim. The front bumper paint was so jacked up that I am considering buying an aftermarket one but for now this will do. I'm also debating whether or not to wrap to roof. I'll decide after I tint the windows next week.

The rears are rolled and no issues. But can't roll the fronts. So wasn't sure if anyone had a solution. I ended up just trimming the top of the front fenders so that the vinyl didn't wrap inside. That part is very thin; on the thicker edges of the fender (front and back, it's still wrapped.

BTW, I'm going to have to rewrap my driver's side since the car got hit a few weeks back. It's still at the shop. Any idea how long i have to wait before I can rewrap? I've been given various times but none of those estimates was from vinyl wrappers, so they're all just guesses.
