Anyone fitted a catchcan etc on a Diesel?
I see some of the american's have, just wondering if anyone has UK side?
I think its worth while doing, but i just dont know my way around my 335D engine yet and wondering if anyone could put things out and what i would need, better still has anyone done it on an e9x diesel? Cheers |

Its a can to collect blow by/oil which leads to carbonisation of the internals like EGR and inlet valves. Its basically a container that collects it this blowby oil and doesnt let it cause the problems below.
From factory the gases are passed back into the engine to be burnt up however they dont and clog up MAF sensors, EGR's and inlet valves/manifolds. Its a pretty big document deal about the whole carbonisation on here and in the US. Just wondering if anyone has done it in the UK? |
