Question ipod adapter with creative zen vision?

hi.
is this possible?
i can off course listen to music using the aux input.
but is it possible to connect it to the idrive navi screen so I can watch mp3 tags and/or movies.
my idrive does not have the tv/video module.

but maybe I can use only the yellow videocable which is included with the zen vision and plug it in the back of the screen?

anyone have heard about this or maybe have tried it.`

Greetings from Norway.

It should be possible with the new USB connection that will be coming out in newer production cars right? But no retrofit install for those of us that already have our cars...

I too have the Creative Zen and would LOVE to have full integration with my 335.

Why do you think its the best? Because it has the most commercials on Tv? Countless reviews give Creative the edge. Thing is that theres so much junk out there for an ipod.

The iPod is OK... but it's not the best out there. Maybe the best marketing, but not the best device. I just don't like how it's so proprietary.

Apple just did a great job getting all the peripheal manufacturers on board. If they had all the same peripheals for non-iPod devices then I'm confident that iPod sales wouldn't be what they are today.

Actually because i own one. And because i owned a Zen as well and my girl has the sansa...
So i got to compare it to the 2 other " big players" and the Ipod is superior.
Or maybe your going to tell me that the Zune is better?

I have had an iPod, an Archos, and a Zen and I can tell you that for me, the Zen is the best I've had.

I hate the fact that I can only use the iTunes store for purchasing tracks and that if I want to rip a CD that I have to put it in a format that only Apple products can read. It's a product that sits on its own self sustaining island. Not that the Apple island isn't a nice place to be, but once you get there you're stuck you know?

iPods will read MP3s but my point is that if you want to purchase music online then you have to use the iTunes store. You can't use any other store. With my Zen I can use any store BUT iTunes...

But to be quite honest - I don't purchase any music online b/c I prefer to buy the CD and then rip them into a lossless format b/c I stream them back over my network to my Roku Soundbridge and it sounds just like the CD. But lossless files on any personal media players are kinda pointless!

iPods are great. Don't get me wrong. My only gripe is that they are just a little too restrictive for me.

The ONLY reason I'd consider ever buying another iPod is to simply get a good integrated solution in my car and since I plan on driving BMWs for the rest of my life it looks like it will be a long time (possibly never) before they offer any such integration with anything other than an iPod.

I have enough points on my Amex to get an 80gb so I'm considering making the leap even though it goes against every grain in my body.
