8.3 L/100km - 27 mpg : )
Hi,
335i e92 pzero nero F35 psi R40 psi I went 115 km/hr on 407 with some stop and go traffic in D mode with max 3000 rpm. I got 8.3 L / km or 27 mpg. I know it's not 100% accurate but I was pretty impressed. I usually do 12 L / km - 19 mpg but I am an occasional spirited driver.

18.08L/100km --- 13mpg
And I don't really drive that aggressive on the street, city driving kills mileage.

330i, Toronto - Ottawa round trip (so that compensates for altitude differences, if any) with just a bit of city driving.
6.9 l/100km or 34mpg. =) That was the only time I've seen that consumption though...

Mine is 10.8
How is this calculated? I mean is it in the last 1000kms or so or the life of the car?

I drive a 2012 E91 328i xDrive Touring (curb weight >3700 lbs).
I get <10L/100km with *CITY* driving in Vancouver, and <7L/100km on the highway. I'm neither a hypermiler nor a slow driver -- my driving style is fast but very smooth and steady, the primary motivation being to minimize wear and tear on the car. I intend to keep it for 10+ years unless something goes wrong with it. Keep in mind too that I'm putting in 91 octane (AKI) premium gas. I was using 87 octane for a while, but that gave me about 10% worse mileage, so I figured just go with premium. |
