Halfrauds bulbs

Just to let you guys know that Halfords are doing their 'brilliance' bulbs at buy one get one free at the moment. I just got a set of 'ultra brilliance' bulbs for £29.99. Apparently 90% brighter (don't believe that for one min) but there you go......

Maybe be handy if anyone needs bulbs....

Just fitted my bulbs. One thing is for certain, they are deffo brighter than standard. Replaced the blown one, turned on and they are deffo whiter/brighter.

A refreshing change was the fact that the e90 has to be the easiest bulb replacement I've done in years! Both in less than 10 mins.

Philips bulbs (pairs) are still cheaper than halfraud, and better IMO.

These are the most expensive 'ultra' ones, I've never tried Philips but I thou get they were more expensive? There are cheaper bulbs in Halfords.

I presume they'll fit them for the normal price? I know you say they're easy to fit but from what I've read I'd probably take me all day to do!

Would that not mean that you had a Halfords bulb that did not match the Phillips bulbs?

But then you have in effect paid £29.99 for one bulb as the second bulb is redundant.

You either have to buy Halfords bulbs forever or have a bulb that you cannot use as you don't want to buy Halfords bulbs for £29.99

Not such a good deal when you look at it like that.

And that goes exactly the same for anyone else swapping for any brighter set.

I chose brighter bulbs.

I'm not saying halfrauds bulbs are the be all and end all, I was letting people know about the buy one get one free. Take it or leave it.
