You should try and pay somewhere between $800 and $1200 over invoice. Find out what the invoice price is for your car, and start there.

The invoice is $39845 with your specs.

You're getting if for $640 over invoice. I'd say that's an excellent price, go for it.

I checked the invoice and it was $38915 so if its true, I will pay +-$1500 over. I dont think that's a good deal.

Hmmm are you sure? Did you add in the $695 Destination charge? Everyone pays destination.

You should REALLY consider the comfort access; your wife will appreciate it and it is cool.

check edmunds.com. i come out with invoice of 38,845 im my region. what color are you looking at because metallic paint is extra and you didnt say. it looks like the dealer is making around 1500 which is a pretty good deal. i would start at 500 over invoice and go up to around 1200 max.

Edmonds say 38845 w/o color specified. Also, unless they put the price in writing (print-out w-stock # and detailed breakdown....the quote is "worthless". $1200 over invoice is probably as low as you can get considering the popularity of the 3er in Socal. Good Luck!

Since you are within driving distance of the dealerships that I have shopped, word of advice, if you cannot work the deal at Crevier do not bother to talk to the following dealerships: IRVINE BMW, NICK ALEXANDER IMPORTS, STERLING BMW, MCKENNA BMW (NORWALK,CA). All of these dealerships use the same "bait & switch", lots of verbal but nothing in writing talk and finance manager strong-arm tactics that you would expect from ford or gm dealership. All of this is based on personal experience. I have shopped just about every BMW dealership in Socal. I just want to see you have the buying experience that you deserve, one where you are enjoying your new vehicle, not second guessing your decision because the dealership "sucker-punched" you.
