My Best 1/4 Mile Time With Really Crappy Tires

Went to the track last night again and was able to get a better time then 13.2

Best Time:

60' ... 2.091
330 ... 5.601
1/8 ... 8.486
MPH ... 86.12
1000 ... 10.949
1/4 ... 13.034
MPH ... 108.55

I've got the stock 17" Run flats on the car, I was lucky if I get any traction with those when I have traction disabled.

For a while I was doing runs with traction entirely disabled and it just doesn't help at all. My best times have come from just disabling DTC.

I'm shifting at 6500 RPM. Shiv plz get that V2.0 ready soon at least that will make me get some wider wheels and tiers.

PROcede only or do you have other mods?
Are you on 91 Octane or did you have 93 or better?
What were the track conditions?

You said stock 17" tires, did you mean 18" or do you not have the sport package?

At the moment the only mod is the PROCede.
I'm running the 94, here in TDOT we got Sunoco feeding us the 94.
Track conditions were horrible, it was about 23C or 73.4F it was pretty humid.

I didn't get the sports package on the car, I didn't like the seats and I knew I'm going for after market rims anyway so didn't feel like spending the extra 5K when I'll change it all anyway.

Thanks everyone

60' Time is pretty good for stock tires. It has been really humid around here lately, i'm sure it would go 12's on a cool night.

94 Octane. Nice, wish we could get that at every pump here.
And you probably still pay less for it than we do for 91 Octane.
With 94 Octane and some better street tires, you should easily be running 12.7's at that track under those same conditions. Change those tires.
Do you still have the CDV on or did you delete it?

BTW 73 degrees is pretty good conditions for this time of year.

I can understand the humidity being high, but 73 is pretty nice!
I went to LACR and raced in 94 degree weather. Talk about horrible!

Yeah, for me I thought that was horrible. Our nights are usually pretty cool like tonight where it's 20C.

94 is pretty darn bad.

Nice run.

How much gas did you have? You should go and buy some 104 octane that is available at Cayuga.
