Hi folks,

Vehicle BMW 2007 - 325i - E90

I am wondering if anyone can help shed some light on my problem. My mechanic replaced the intake cam shaft gear and exhaust cam shaft gear and replaced the timing chain, guides & timing chain tensioner about 7 months ago due to the cam and exhaust gears teeth being worn out. The car has been running great since then however the check engine light has just started coming on and off after about 5 starts. I ran a scan and the following codes came up.

FAULT CODES
2A87 Exhaust vanos, mechanism
2A82 VANOS intake Has anyone had this issue before or could suggest what might be going on?
