Where do you guys normally go for tints?
I know Tint King does an awesome job, just wondering what other places are good? hopefully closer to Boston.

I had mine done at Tint King and as far as I know, I've got the best E92 dot matrix around.

Had three cars done here. Cool couple(?). Funny location to get to. Very very quick in and out. On BMW's they do charge a little more for the mole skin or whatever to protect the tint from scratching. Which is totally fine as it's needed for these cars. Nice waiting area to hang out in, but it's a quick job. He usually has it all the precuts laid out ready to go by the time you're there. They do alot of dealer cars (what they do most of the time) Quote:
Really nice guy. He really takes his time also. I haven't been there in a while, but if I remember correctly, he did it all by hand. Had two cars done here. He gets really booked so it's hard to get in. Quote:
Had one car done there. I didn't want to drive that far again. Same machine as Solar Solutions. It's all precut. |

I'd argue Tint King is worth the drive. I have had them do several of my vehicles and a bunch of my friend's cars and they have all come out amazing.
Jorge and Randy are extremely talented at what they do.

Went to think king yesterday I just bought a e92 m-sport and got rid of my e90. Had it tinted yesterday from randy with the top of the line stuff. Was 380 they heat up the dot matrix, it's the best on the dot matrix yet!

I had to search what dot matrix was. What method does Tint King and Solar Solutions use to deal with the dots on glass? Sand, glue or vinyl? Anyone notice that theirs has bubbles around the dots?
See here what dot matrix is: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173825 |

$380 is for the top of the line tint which is the ceramic stuff I think. I got mine done at Tint King for $230. It was my 4th car I had done there and I have been happy every time.
