I mean if you're not gonna track the car, is it going to make that much of a difference to pony up an extra $400 - $500?

Pretty sure the AA would be a considerable improvement over stock for daily driving and the occasional track day, especially for those not wanting to go crazy with huge turbos / meth / etc... later on. I don't need an FMIC that can take 600+ hp, I'm never going to build the car that much anyways.
That is why i have to know how intense the install is! If i have to pay a lot to just install it, then i would take the bigger one...

The AA looks pretty mild to install, they have a DIY on their website. The ER I know you have to cut to get to fit, the Helix i believe as well because of how tall it it is.

Absolutely NO cutting with the Helix on a 335i, and only very minor trimming near the ambient air sensor on the 135i

I stand corrected, but still the extra $400 compared to the AA sport is rough.

For the Active Autowerk SPORT FMIC you should pay no more than 1.5hrs to have it installed by a good shop.

You can visit the GB here they are in-stock and ready to ship!

With HPF intercooler you don't have to cut the cup links. food for thought.
