It requires quite a bit of force. If you look hard enough you'll see a small notch where you stich the screw driver. Once you get the first one it makes sense how to get the second.

It took me a long time too but I finally got it one Saturday when I was fed up with all the rest of my lights LED but the front dome.

Good luck.

Just got in my interiors and installed them in I guess I would say 30 minutes if not less. Extremely happy with the lights! And the pictures depicted on the threads were right on with what they would look like installed. I installed about more than half of them backwards, but a simple flip was all it took to get the lights going! Every light is working just as it should, dims just like OEM, and Mike was quick to answer any questions I had. After the install just wanted to head out to a dark alley and open up my doors and enjoy haha... One hell of a product! Thanks again Mike!

The LED interior kit used during this install was purchased from Mike@F1AutoHaus

hey all,

I just changed fuse #51 but still no glove/trunk joy - my #51 was a 30 amp fuse. My build date is 10/05 so is it possible the fuses on earlier cars were different? Can anyone advise me now on which fuse I should replace to get my glovebox and trunk lights working again?

It will be easier if you can take a shot of your fuse box man, I don't really think there will be much difference on the fuse. Check your fuse # again if you may, 30 amps fuse is WAY OFF.

Yeah as soon as I read 10 amps on the picture I knew I had the wrong fuse - defly not #51 on my model year. I'll post a picture of the fuse diagram that I pulled out of my glove compartment within the next day or so - hopefully someone can make sense of which one I need. Thanks!

I think I'm going to do this for just the two courtesy door lamps, to match the led's that are stock on the outside door handles when you unlock the doors Thanks!

Can't install the 12 LED piece on the front on E90 M3 with no sunroof... I broke the middle board I think. This instruction is too general for the front light. I am using the Valentine1 hardwire instruction to pop open the front light housing bleh. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97545

I hope that I didn't break anything yet grrr

Hi everybody. I'm actually in the LED manufacturing biz so I have a comment/questions.

Not all LED PC boards are dimmable. So for those guys who did this and have dimming AND it has been going for at least 6 months, let us know which brand/model you're using.
Some non-dimmable units will dim, but won't last a year so it's important to let us know which are the correct units to use.
Also, to the OP, are your pictures accurate as far as color goes. I definitely don't want cool hues, I hate how they wash color out. Warm white LED's FTW everytime.

EDIT: oopr I just noticed you were using 6000°k color temps, yikes. Do they offer 2800-3200°k?

Thanks

just for fun, i bought a pair of cheap blue leds and put them in the dome lights... i know they look kind of funky and the white leds are definitely better but i thought it'll be fun to have this look for a while.

prob change it back to white when i am bored of this look.

To clarify for the DIY
If your footwell or door lamp housing looks like the pictures below, you have to twist the black socket out from the housing, then you can remove the bulb by lightly pulling it out.

^ This last picture shows the forward pointing T10 bulb install for the door lamp which is incorrect, you must adjust the pins on the multi-directional T10 bulbs for the door lamp.

I just installed mine on a 08 E92. The trunk LED doesn't fit perfectly, you need to shave down a little bit of plastic on the housing to squeeze it in.

I also blew my fuse putting in the trunk LED and on 08 E92 that fuse is #77 not #51. Its still the 10ma (red) tho.

Besides the trunk piece, everything fit like a champ. a little expensive but def top notch fit and craftsman. Now let see if they throw codes or burn out.

Thanks Mike

hey guys, think i just fucked something up. I went to trypulling the roof trim out to do my dome lights, and i barely touched it and both dome lights went out
i checked with a volt meter, and getting 0.6v to each dome light every other bulb works fine, just these 2 are out...any ideas?

I got these for the foot wells
http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/p828...duct_info.html

and these for the others:
http://http://www.superbrightleds.co...2FWLED-xHP.htm

but I think I'm ok, so someone tell me if im not.. after freaking out for a while, I found out that the dome lights dont work only when the key is in the slot in the dash, and/or im driving. If the key is out, like im parked or getting into/out of the car, then they all work. It's only when it's in and im driving...is this how the car was designed (I'd think so to prevent extra light from distracting driver while driving?)

Let me know if thats how they're supposed to work, because otherwise I can't figure out why they'd work without the key in the dash, and not when they were in.

PS Mike, re: the PM i sent you, the lights above are pretty close to the foot well lights, but the light brigtness in the first picture on the page I quoted to you in the PM is hw bright, and the color temp, that I'm going for.

PM has been replied btw

Those LEDs you have won't work properly since the computer monitors all of the interior lighting as well. You'll need the Euphoria 6k kit which we developed for the E9x models.
