Active Autowerke Software 328i BMW
HI everyone
I am looking to get AA tune for my 07 328. Not sure how long I will keep tis car until F30 335 takes her place. In the meantime I would like to have a little more kick on 328. Active Autowerke website selling for $499, nothing on ebay or forums... Any idea where I could get an used tune cheaper? |

Yes, I have a 2009 E92, had power box for the first 2 years of my car's life, and then the AA tune for second 2 years, there are big differences

As far as the power box goes, it's a waste of money and only gives your car a Toyota pedal- don't bother. |

the AA tune is married to your computer ECU code, meaning that if you even manage to put in on another 328i the car will shut down. And is very pricey to get back to normal. Best way is to get a new tune coded specifically for your car. Hope this helps.

I would love to get this for my E92 N51. The main reason I want it is to eliminate the terrible throttle lag!!! In the morning, when my motor is cold, I feel like I have 2 ways to drive: 1) Push the pedal down normally and go dog ass slow... 2)Smash the pedal at least half way and the car wakes up and accelerates with plenty of power, but sometimes it is too much for in city driving (red light to red light).. There is no in-between.
I just want a normal throttle response, no lag I will get the AA tune if it will fix this. |

thinking of doing the AA tune paired with a BMW PE exhaust and calling it a day as everyone knows there are no "real" gains to be had with the N52

The car has 0 throttle lag if you switch it to manual shifting mode. It's so much more responsive and really feels quick. Drive that way every day now, only use D mode when there's ice.

MT or Auto?
I don't feel any lag on the MT in my N51. Wondering if the tune helps for an MT i.e. increased torque/HP. Does anybody have dyno info.?
