I'll never understand how companies get away with selling oil catch cans for such a ridiculous price when it does not cost more that $50-70 to make.

The feedback from this and the exhaust sure must be motivating for HPF to pursue their N54 single turbo kit...

lol... well HPF is going about everything in the wrong way... they first of all are taking way too long to do anything, they are pricing their products ridiculously high for minimal R&D, and they are announcing things WAY WAY before they are going to be sold to the public (ie - intake manifold, chargepipe, and especially the turbo kit).

Don't worry dzenno, you're not alone. You can join the scores of people who swapped out plugs, coils and injectors trying to fix something that wasn't broke to begin with.

IMO the HPF OCC has some sexy components. Is it worth the price? Probably worth it about as much as those $2k SuperSprint downpipes.
Shiv did point at the occ first, followed by a few others but you're wrong in that my misfire issue is tune related...it misfires the exact same way on jb4 as well as Cobb (with just a touch higher psi) as it's boost related which I now know its lpfp related...I know all about shiv suggesting to change parts but in many cases he was right...

Tune related issues are the easiest to check as I can use a jb4 procede and Cobb now to verify...

When did I ever say we that's what we gotta do to get a single turbo kit into production? You read into things to much.

You have the E46 M3 crowd that actually buys their kits all the time and loves their stuff, then you have our platform which has given them a lukewarm reception at best. If you were them, would you actually put more effort into development for this car or focus on getting more 500+whp M3s on the road? There's quite a waiting list on those kits and they do have a reputation built on them.

Unfortunately, yeah that's around what they charge for their higher hp M3 kits. But you never know. If they just cut all the BS and just come with a solid kit for these cars that performs, I'm sure there are folks on here with deep enough pockets that will buy it. Holding my breath for that though.

Yeah man I completely agree. Their stuff is high quality but for fucksake it's not made of gold and it isn't any better than what other companies put out at decent price point.

It's just that I wouldn't be shocked if their turbo kit never comes because all their other products flopped on this platform.

Just so that I'm clear on this....this is roughly half the price of your intercooler? You can't be serious.

Looks like a quality product, but I wouldn't buy it at this price even if I slept on money.
