Where to buy Continental Extreme Contact DW in Hong Kong

Hi guys,

I am new to Hong Kong e90post forum.
My current ride is a 2010 320d and I am trying to get a set of Continental Extreme Contact DW for my ride.
Is there any good tire shop that you guys recommended?

Regards,
Lawrence

Last time I checked, I haven't heard of any Continental Extreme Contact DW in HK, but that was awhile ago, so don't know about the siutation now. You can consider Michelin PSS as an alternative.

There are several tire shops at Tai Hang, the biggest is called Shing Tak:

I bought my Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric at this shop at Fortress Hill/Tin Hau, but forgot the name, the folks here recommended it to me, it's on Watson Road.

Thanks for that.

I am in a dilemma between Continental Extreme Contact DW and PSS.
I have heard really good feedback on both tyres.
Most people recommended PSS for track and Continental Extreme Contact DW for daily drive.
I will definately check out the prices for both tyres then make a decision.

Well since HK has no track, you should know which tire to get. But, is there extreme contact in HK? If not, look for Bridgestone or Goodyear.

My ride is actually in Sydney. Occasionally I can push the car to 180 so PSS maybe a gd idea. I am coming back to Hong Kong at the end of this month. That's why I am asking around and see if I can get a better deal in Hong Kong. A set of PSS in Sydney will cost me around AUD 2200 = HKD 17600.
I was looking at getting the PSS from Tirerack.com which will cost me $1300 shipped. do you think that's a good deal?

Many have tried to beat tirerack and failed.

I spent a whole day trying to get a SIMILAR price.

Even staffers of the Australian agent (for Kumho) can't beat tirerack, landed. So just follow the rest of us :P

TireRack.com is the way to go.
I ordered a set of PSS on Friday and they will probably arrive on coming Wednesday.
LOVE their service

Hi Lawrence,

What size of PSS did you order from Tirerack? How much shipping did they charge you? I need a set of PSS 225/45/17 but I can't find them in Hong Kong. Thx!!

how about Bridgestone S001 ? I just have it installed yesterday, and changed the original 17" rim and RFT into 18" with S001.

I was planned to get PSS but 18" is not available in HK at the momoent... so i turned to Bridgestone S001.

Is it like night and day after switching from RFT to normal?
