car jumping/braking rarely, no CELS :-(
Hey guys I have a 328i with about 95,000 miles on the clock
Right now I am having problems with my car. The only time this happens is when i have been driving a lot, lets say a good hour. then i get out to go to walmart or something. when i come back and go into drive at about 20 mph it feels like I tapped the brakes 2-3 times quickly. it feels like jumping. THen the rest of the drive is fine. if i drive all day then not for 30 min it wont happen. its really weird and i reall want to fix it. |

would u describe it as as engine shake? if so its a common misfire problem. i'm at 120k and i've had multiple misfire problems. At idle cars shakes, or on speed up car is jerky.

No codes are thrown? At 95,000 I recommend that you invest in a peake tool, see my sig.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

Might be you eccentric shaft sensor is going bad, it will make the car feels like it's choking, usually on low speed 0-40 mph. Pay attention
