Why is my RFT lasting so long?

I currently have 22k miles, and I can assure you, 30% of those miles were ROUGH miles.

My tires are still gripping pretty well. By looking at tires, yes, i could definitely use some new tires, but it seems like I can hold it off until 25k miles unless I do mountain driving everyday.

I hear some people complaining how RFTs only lasting 8~10k miles. I've seen some people reporting 20k+ miles, but they admitted they drive relatively slow and safe.

Or, am I just pushing it too far and get some new tires ASAP?

that is not alot comparing to conv tire. Compare to other, yes, 22K is alot. Does your tire look like mine?

I drove them like I am driving on egg shells. My front are still original and still has way more tread left then the rear one in the thread I posted.

Not really, the first 15K miles, I was not even paying attention to them or the PSI or my driving habits (fast turn-in for turns and off ramp exits).

After that I noticed the rear was wearing out more then front (due to sprited take off at lights). I then invested in an air pump and began to monitor the psi. I also think I have too much psi (hence the middle section are flat).

As you can see, I got flamed in that post for driving on bald tire. But I drove the last 5K miles very cautiously (around town only and not on long distant trip) knowing the rear tires are as thin as egg shell (hence I reference egg shell).

Are your as worn out as mine?

well all i can say is that in the 335, i will need no tires rather soon vs. the 330. on the 330 i had about 70% remaining at 16k, and have no doubt that those tires would have lasted well to the 33k+ mark. the 335, i am not so sure. I am guessing about 22-25k on those.
