DAMN! these tires are expensive!!

ok so i just phone my local bridgestone dealer to inquire about the price for the
potenza RE 050A RFT

There $363.00 for the fronts
and $375.00 for the back.

I called them because i had a 'flat' last week and almost had to replace the tire.

Guess i'm screwed when the time to change the tires comes around.

Don't buy runflats, buy some real tires.

Better performance and cheaper.

Deal with having no spare when (AND IF) the time comes.

woah bud, i just got the same tire runflat, for $215 shipped from tire rack. It was for the front, so i think it was 225/45/17, go check them out there.

I would never pay that much for a tire.

No way i'm NOT going to have a spare. That was my first punctured tire within 6 months of buying the car. And I'm sure it won't be the last. There's a lot of crap sitting on the side of the roads here in PR.

Then running runflats or finding a spare to go with non-runflats is a good idea.

What are you doing in case of a flat tire?

I just went with michelin something tires, non-runflat, from costco, 960 for the whole set. Welcome to BMW world dammit, where tires cost more than rims.

Don't forget to take into account having them mounted and balanced. Was the price from your dealer including this?

Actually, if you have ever seen South Park, then you would know that homeless people can be used as spare tires. Very cheap!
