Sirius Favorites Question
I have an 2009 E90 with a 2/2009 build date. I was recently in a 2010 loaner with a 2/2010 build date. Both cars have factory Sirius, however the 2010 loaner had the ability to select favorites (artists, teams, etc.), where if the favorite is played on any of the channels there is a prompt to select, e.g. if you are listening to channel 14 and The Who are in your favorites, when The Who is playing on any other channel, you are prompted if you want to switch to that channel. It's nice functionality that I had on the add-on unit for a Honda.
My question is as follows: Does this require a hardware upgrade or will a software flash address this?
