Wind draft from door

Not sure where to post this since I can't find a specified sub-forum for this lol. Anyways, whenever I go above 60/70mph I can noticeably hear a draft from the driver side door, possibly the window. Is this normal on the coupe due to the design of the window? If not, how can I go about fixing this, since it is very annoying. There are no water leaks though so I'm not sure what is causing this. Thank you.

I have the same problem, and mine is on both sides. I am probably going to order new weatherstripping for both sides.

Have it here to. It's not terrible, but I notice it. Mine actually seems to be coming from the handle (which is weird, because it's in the middle of the door, not on the edge.)

I think the weatherstripping suggestion is probably a good one.

Ahh I see. Yeah, at first when I bought the car I didn't really notice it. I dunno if it has gotten worse or I'm paying more attention to it lol.

I had the same problem too and told my mechanic at BMW, he rode with me and he too thought it was the weather strip and one other thing. When we got back he actually took a mallet hammer and tapped the hinge where the door would close, hard to describe since I don't know the exact name of it, but if you open the door and look on the inside where the door would latch onto? But anyways, he knocked on that for a bit and we took it back out and the sound was gone!

Ha, same exact issue with my coupe, never loud enough to really bother me but if someone figures out how to adjust the door jamb to fix I'd be interested.

BTW,

I did the chrome to shadowline trim swap last weekend, and the noise is gone. Used old seals, but it may be the one thing to swap out to get it to stop.

I have stock shadowline and I get a bit of wind noise from the driver side.

Probably the lower seal in the upper window trim. It should be easy to replace.
