Tut, tut Sunny it should be around £42,885.
You've forgotten bluetooth with telematics, sat. nav. professional, sun protection glass, 12 v power sockets, extended storage, seat heating front (must for re-sale to most men lol) and exterior mirrors folding and auto dimming. So the basic price has gone up but they now include as standard UK options ie. leather, swings and roundabouts. Nice to see the manual has a shortened gearshift. |

When I was looking for my motor those are the things I wanted and the only thing I took as a "hit" were the dimming side mirrors (though mine are elec. folding) which, while nice to have, are not a deal breaker. Had any one of the other items been missing I would have passed on the car for sure and indeed did on a few which had one thing or the other missing, having said that I don't think mine has extended storage...but the other stuff is essential IMO. EDIT: The USB interface option (06FL) is absolutely essential. It's so easy to drag some tunes onto a USB stick (I hear some USB hard-drives work too), shove it in and away you go. What would make it even better would be if the car had Wi-Fi which could be activated without unlocking/starting the car so you could access/transfer/delete music from the house before a journey. Tut tut BMW, should employ me as your head of non-essential technologies (by non-essential I mean optional extras etc, not ECU/engines). |
