My plan is to meet at the AMC theater( it is down the road from me) Plus I think it would be fun to drive with other fellow enthusiasts to the coffee shop.

to be honest, I don't actually drink coffee... I'm hoping they have hot chocolate...

I'm going to have my son and at least one passenger so we should be able to take some photo's while driving...

I left NOB at 11 and it was pretty slow going. I don't get with how slow everyone was going that there would be any accidents... lol but I did see a few with wrecked fenders and whatnot..

Should be interesting to see how long it takes them to get the roads clean for the drive to work tomorrow...

My drive home today was very slow here in Hampton, saw a good amount of vehicles with smashed bumpers. I am definetly parking the bimmer for the night where it will be safe from fender-benders.

that's why i'm spending the night at work...i have food, a bed, tv, etc. not a bad deal. plus, i don't have to deal with the morning commute to NOB and risking being late...not to mention the long, cold, freeze my ass off walk down the pier. no big deal. i know the blue bullet will be safe where it is. nooooooow, i'm just curious how it will ride on the roads tomorrow since i have rear wheel drive, max perf summer tires, and never driven this thing in snow. i've driven in snow before, but that was a 4 banger front wheel drive and 6 cyl rear wheel drive.

The drive sucks, the rear tires break really easy. Keeping the rpm's below 3k allowed the traction control to react better to keep the car from spinning out. Had it happen twice. Just really ssslow going....

When starting from a stop, using 2nd gear helped a lot today. Whenever I tried to go in first, my rear would slide to the right... I need to get an LSD...

Damn, hope she's ok!

Back in 2001 when my wife was in college some kid doing about 50 slammed into her tempo (Maine winter beater) while she was stopped at a light. Luckily the crumple zones worked. Kid was playing with his CD player. It's getting ridiculous with all the gadgets people are trying to mess with while driving these days...

yup you're dead on. the girl who ran into her was a fairly new driver and most likely was messing with the radio or her cell phone not paying attention. luckily...the rear impact beam did its job...and she's ok at the moment. incidentally, this impact beam is what caused the insurance adjuster to total out the car...he said it costs quite a bit of money to replace...and wouldn't be worth it considering the age of the car.

That is a tough break, bro. Again, glad she walked away from it and that the crumple zones did their job.

I don't know the answer to this, but anything related to Checkered Flag is suspect. See if Casey BMW tells you the same.
