H&R Sports on my Lemans Blue E90 XI pics

So I already grew pretty tired of the 4x4 look my XI E90 has and had to do something quick. Friday night I installed a set of H&R sports and couldnt be happier. The car sits perfect, and rides great, not harsh or bumpy. I wouldnt really recommend following the DIY on this forum to a T for the XI cars however, there is a MUCH easier way. Im thinking about some wheel spacers as well. What size can I get away with on the stock wheels?

Here are some before and after pics.

Any reason as to why you didn't upgrade the shocks as well?

Great choice with the H&R Sport Springs as it definitely gets rid of the 4x4 look!

It may be slightly lower as the non XI cars use a different spring part # and come lower then the XI does stock

I didnt feel the need to have to replace them, didnt want to spend the money. And if they do blow out, I work for BMW

It just seems a little unfair people paying 1k+, and you get too just buy springs.

How's the ride quality ? Did handling get better?

Nothing is stopping people from buying just springs. Alot of people have fear that they will blow out their shocks/struts, unless you are slamming the thing to the ground and plan on putting 100k miles on the suspension, I wouldnt really worry about it.

Ride quality didnt suffer at all from what I can tell. It feels a little tighter in the turns, but definitely not a harsh ride. I DD the car and I have no complaints.

Doesn't the x-drive sport sit higher than the regular sport suspension?

It looks great. Because one of your pictures, I just brought 4-set of wheels and tires like yours. It look good on my 2006 325i standard package too. I also just ordered 4 H&R Sport Spring too. Whenever you have spacers put on, please post the pictures. Thank you so much
