Who's white 335d did I run into on great seneca?

Ran into a white 335d on great seneca hwy, md. I had 4 people in my car, and he got a huge jump on me, but I couldn't catch all the way up, at least at the low speeds. It was definitely quick. I remember him saying he had a tune, like 500 ft/lbs of torque if i remember correctly.

It was forum member FormerRotor - he said he 2.5 peeps in his car (not sure where the .5 came from). I got a PM from him about his run-in with you, then Lance PM'd me asking if it was me.

Awesome. I'm glad that some of these diesels are quick!

Your white 335d is the cleanest one in the area I've seen. Have you been to MIR since the last time I saw you there? I had the plat bronze e92 335i, but now went to the alpine white side. lol

Thanks zeel! I've done a few more things since the last time you saw it - I think for the better. Your car was running strong that day. Nah I have not been back, it was fun, but all I did was spin out in the box with DWS tires. Before I go back I want to get some DR's or at a minimum better summer performance tires. I def want to do it again - that was ny first time and it was a blast doing that legally.

Sorry I missed this one. Vitamin and I got in touch shortly after the run (thanks, Chris). I had two full-grown people plus my [living] daughter sleeping in her car seat in the back (hence the .5).

The 500lb/ft was mostly for the sake of your guests. I'm running JBD (at 100% that day) which Dynos out to 430+ lb/ft at the wheels (given circa 15% drivetrain lost, 500 crank just sounds better ;-) ).

For those who haven't seen it at meets, VitaminM5 has a very clean e60 m5 (nice guy, too). The RpI exhaust was music. My speedo read about 120-125 each time we let off. If we would've gone much past that he definitely would've overtaken me (and my wife would've had a heart-attack).
