If done right, music is timeless...take a look at Mozart. IMO music does not expire or follow trends (at least many of the stuff I listen to), so just because it's 80's or 90's doesn't mean you should stop listen to that music. I still listen to Bob Marley and we all know he is dead :P

in some cases this is true carl.

i was listening to HIP HOP form 1989 when NWA came out. so i develop a liking for peoples music from their fisrt album, they seem more raw and indiluted.
