Thinking about buying a newer 135 after the warranty is done swapping the proceed over. I exited the thread at like page 20.

Sorry for not researching guys but do we have a FBO proceed map (piggy controlling meth) yet? Really would like to see a dyno with this. I could see this being a HUGE thing.

Has anybody yet done a side-to-side comparison of the OF tunes, Stg 0, 1 or ? to the Cobb OTS tunes?

Several comparisons have been made from those who have personal experience with both tunes. In fact, I'd say that a good portion of the OpenFlash user base are former Cobb AP users. Best to ask them. Search for OpenFlash reviews and you are bound to find what you are looking for

No start mode???

I heard Cobb has a setting that u can turn on so ur car won't start... My buddy has an Evo and uses it when he does on holidays.
Shiv any chance the feature could be incorporated into the table?

If for some reason you try the OTS map and still want a linear throttle, I can whip one up for you pretty quickly. But when the rest of the tune is working properly, moving to a linear throttle is, subjectively and objectively, a step in the wrong direction.

Thank you for the reply. I guess I just really like the feel of a linear throttle, I see what you are saying but I have just always been a fan of it. I love my e36 with a cable throttle body, that feeling of control just doesn't get much better.

I had never felt it on a DBW car until I drove my buddies 335 that had cobb with a linear aggressive throttle map on it and I loved it. Takes some getting used to, but IMO the control that you acquire makes the drivability much better.

haha all good, we just think alike

i'm actually gonna rewrap my interior because I did a poor job the first time around. and hmm that would be a cool idea for a mount but i dont know if the cable will go that far. i used to have my cobb mounted in the center vent but the openflash cable is much shorter

yeah mine is still wood trim and id much prefer a sportier feel on the interior with carbon.. and i was thinking of using an obd extension cable and running it through the dash out to the ash tray and then custom fabbing a piece that the tablet would mount into and look like it was part of the interior

I already have a perfect solution incoming. I will post pics and links once completed. Trust me when I say this will be the cleanest and best solution for mounting. Ill have it finished sometime later in the week.

You are probably trying to download the user log, not the datalog you recorded. The user log is not the same thing, or in the same format, as the datalog. It's meant for debugging purposes and readable by our programmers only. It's also huge (over 4mb)

You can't download the datalog from the Tablet yet because you don't have the new OpenFlash Manager v1.02 software. I'm in the process of making a new thread on how to do the update.
