Well I already have Bluetooth enabled in the car which I use so I guess I'd only need to get the indy (or whoever for that matter) to code it for the CD Changer option.. is that right or do I still need it coded for both?

Thanks for your help bud!

If you already have bluetooth in the car you shouldnt need the denison blue-tooth add-on .Save yourself a few quid. Just get it coded for cd changer.

Oh excellent. I was with the understanding because of the Dension unit, I'll need the BTA 1500 to allow the car to recognise the signal and have bluetooth (re)enabled.

Is there anywhere I can check whether I'd need it or not? If not, it's saved me a good few quid and I may just go ahead with the Dension 500 in a couple of months.

The new gateway 500s has bluetooth included

The new gateway 500s has bluetooth included A2DP
but is more expensive expensive on Ebay.
Bluetooth from the gateway 500 would be a parallel system and have nothing to do with already installed bluetooth but I wonder if it would interfere with the stock bluetooth.

Re: your suggestion, I don’t understand what you mean. Are you saying to basically replace the Aux-In under the armrest with another Aux-In? If not, can you please elaborate and also tell me what cable you’re referring to? Is this a fairly simple job or will it turn out expensive? I’m trying to keep costs down as install is already going to cost a shed load.

Thanks bud..
Here is MS-8 calibration file.

Burn it on a disc and you will be good to go.

re: Aux in, that adaptor comes with a cable which goes to Quadlock behind your headunit.
So ring your dealer, find out the part number and change it.

£120 is dirt cheap. And did you buy Dension kit? Hard to believe.

And you are saying that you bought it from UK classified.

LOL, getttt in linnnee.

Jokes aside, I wish I knw about this before as my car's going in for the install all of next week lol. Oh well - nothing lost I suppose I can always upgrade at a later stage.

So out of interest, where does the Dension usually get fitted and what are my options if not the glove box?
