Need help on Exhaust Mod on N52B25A
Hi Guys
I just installed Eisenmann Race Muffler on my 323i. 2.5L Just Muffler and no other stuff (eg resonator, Cats etc) were done. Right after install, drove off everything was fine... Then after a few more drives and few hours later.... Car became sluggish and Throttle response became really BAD! Torque was lost as well. I have PBX set to map 3. Reset PBX to map 0 then to Map 3 (Max throttle respond, Max Power) but still the same. Need your advise here on what could have happened? Some friends suggested: 1) Do a physical check on Leakage at the Joint where clamp is 2) Reset ECU? (are they saying reset adaptations?) Thank you in advance! Love the noise the Eisenmann makes but hating the current issues with no power and bad throttle response. |

good idea to check for leakage at the clamp. Also, the change in muffler I have been told sees an initial loss as computer re-learns the new air flow. To be honest, I felt a loss and dyno'd and it actually lost power and torque. Not the same muffler as you but if dyno is cheap enough i would try that after a week or so.
