Hacking out the carbon filter in the stocker will help flow - but it doesn't make filter changes any easier like the Euro does.


Would I have spent the $$ they ask for these new? Yes, it is still better than aftermarket & less expensive than PI - but I'm not sorry I got a great deal either


I actually just picked up the Lid & CF Performance snorkel from the Euro PI setup (very hard to find seperate) for under $100, so soon as weather allows I can get them installed & have the best of both worlds - Euro 1 pc box/round filter/PI look

where did you find the carbon snorkel..and what kind of lid did you pick up do you have pics

The cf performance snorkel & Euro PI lid where for sale here on the forum - just happened to catch them. Paid $60 shipped for both.

Here's a pic of the snorkel/lid I got:





He picked them up somewhere & was looking to try & get them to mate up with a standard airbox - but as you can see in the pic it's not possible




This was the 1st & only time I saw these parts available separately as you can only get them with the entire setup. Once I saw what he had, I snatched them up quickly at that price knowing they would work with the Euro

IDK if you are referring to my post, but here is a pic of the lid I received with the CF Performance snorkel - it looks just like the US PI lid & the Euro PI lid & it fits perfectly on my Euro housing. (7) bolts/pattern is dead on, I already tried it...

This is my first time posting pics. I hope it works. Also, these are not my pictures. I hope the owners don't get upset. Both of these pictures are of the North America performance intake. Notice the bottom of the lid. Its has a triangular kind of fins for a lack of better word that fits on top the triangular opening to seal the flat NA filter. The bottom of the Euro lid is smooth/flat.
