I was all set to buy a coupe and then the LCI saloon came out just as I was buying and as soon as I saw it I liked it.
IMO the coupe (even the 2010 version) looks dated next to an LCI saloon. But I realise I wil probably get flamed for saying that. Its the bonnet ridges that do it for me. So if it were me - If my budget didn't run to an LCI saloon then it would be the coupe. But I would take the LCI saloon if I could. I think in the coupe both the SE and MSport models look ok, but in the saloon, it has to be the MSport as the SE looks terribly plain. |

I agree with Chris's comment about getting the M Sport version if you were to get the new LCI saloon. You are right, the changes on the facelift 2010 E92 coupe are quite subtle. To an untrained eyes, the difference is in the headlights and rear lights, the rest looks pretty much the same. Hence my reason for getting the M Sport E92 on a 57plate. Can't really afford a brand new beamer at the moment.
Am i correct in saying, not all new LCI saloon comes with daytime angel eye xenon headlights like the coupe..is it an optional extra? P.S. Chris..IMO your boot lip looks better if it was colour coded as opposed to black. Like your wheels though..nice Last edited by bounty78; 02-10-2011 at 05:44 AM.. |

Xenons are an option on LCI saloons, but all have 'angel eye' halogens as standard. |

I'm not convinced, the saloon just seems to blend into the background IMO, the coupe has something about it that makes it stand out a little more, though they're as common as muck too really!

Well, my dilemma really is that ideally I'd like an M Sport coupe but I don't think that's going to be an option. It's either an SE coupe, or an M Sport saloon.
To be fair, although the coupe generally looks better, a nicely turned out M SPort saloon can look better than an SE coupe, sometimes. A colleague of mine has a 335i SE coupe, and to my eye it really doesn't look great. The colour is bright blue (Montego blue maybe) and I don't like his wheels either. |

My father in law is fat... , he finds it really hard to get in the car. when he sits in the passengers seat he cant put the belt on, cause its impossible for him to reach it, so i drive the car while listeing to the annoying Ding Ding Ding thing.. Thats the only negative i see, having a baby as well was never an issue putting him in the back. M sport coupe all the way. |

Just started another thread, as I've seen a nice coupe but - as often happens - the mileage seems a bit potentially suspicious:
