Dual exhaust conversion complete
Just got it back from the exhaust garage.
I know that plenty of people have very definite opinions about this sort of conversion. There are haters and lovers. Most of the haters seem to be 335 owners who see it as in some way undermining the 335 status. I also know that plenty of people are considering this mod, so I thought a few pics would be useful I just want to make it clear that I am not a 335 wannabe - I am leaving the 330D badges on - I just really prefer the look of the dual exhaust and I hope you agree that it just looks better.

I like it. It looks very smart.
The exhaust tips on my 335d poke out a little further than the ear bumper and it bugs me a little. I would much prefer them to be flush. I like how your exhaust tips are slightly recessed into the bumper.. |

Cheers! Yes I am very happy with the results. I spoke to the mechanic at the garage last week. He was very helpful and we discussed how I wanted the job to look etc.
So next I had to get a 335 rear diffuser - really lucky, got 1 for £30 (used) off eBay over the weekend, so I got it booked in. Quote:

Ten-out-of-ten it looks great. I think most 335 owners will consider it a compliment.

I like the flush fit and the fact that you have filled out the openings really well. I hope there is a DPF so as not to soot out the surroundings. What a change from the norm, as it looks like a good quality job. I like subtle mods that enhance the car.
It really does not matter what others think (they did not think of the idea, design, went along with it or even pay for it), so long as you are happy and enjoy the car. Well done on a good outcome.

Ill not be having any rear silencers though so hopefully it wont be too loud! cant imagine it will being a diesel. |

I know yours is a 330 Danny but on the 320 you could run it without the silencer and it wouldn't be any different.
