Arent both setups basically equal?
The current stage 2's are not equal to RB's. This has been covered several times. Search for the turbo comparison chart. Wonder why that not been made a sticky?

The new batch of stage twos look promising though...

People have made well over 477 on these. I am sure more of these dyno's will start to show up.

Sure I have G5. If anyone can get a Maha dyno there and measure the car, that would be the best. This was done on 5th gear, video will post tomorrow. I have stock intake box with K&N filter. Maybe with different intake system I could get more HP. Just to compare, stock car with performance package had 326Hp 450nm exactly as it should. With wagner IC, downpipes it had 339Hp 450Nm.

There is your difference right there.......an intake should give you another 10-15 whp up top easily especially given higher flowing turbos.

477 + 15 = 492 = close enough to 500 hp

Indeed. My comment is really a reflection of the fact that I didn't know the stage two turbos used the same housings as the stock units. I assumed, incorrectly, that they were larger, on the turbine side.

Yeah all what is called "stock frame upgrades" meaning stage 1,2,RB's etc etc. use the stock turbine and compressor housings and modify them for bigger wheels. This keeps the oem appearance, fitment, and spool. Downside is the flow restrictions the housings impose on the top end.

Good info, now if I only knew what those measurements actually account for in a turbo lol

Why on earth would upgrade everything else but use the stock box? What psi for those numbers? there has been a few other Dyno sheets around here and the other forum with same turbos hitting the same numbers+- a few ponies some with meth. Maybe this other batch will be different. But I wld say you're on par with everyone else

Just as a comparison, as I always measure my car on a Maha 3000 dyno (these read considerably lower than any US dynos): My car with RB turbos made 505hp / 718Nm at the crank on 98 RON octane fuel, no meth, no E85, and with a COBB / PTF beta map with max. 19psi in the midrange (my current map goes up to 20.6psi). That is also with an upgraded airbox though (similar to the Alpina B3S Biturbo one).

What psi does your map run at?

This is a low reading dyno? Looks like crank HP rating.

Small update, but more concrete numbers tomorrow. GIAC figured out fueling with the walboro (never previously tuned with that pump) and they are cranking up the boost today!!! They were making about 410-420whp on a mustang dyno at like 19-20psi at 50% duty cycle. They will amp them to like 80-90% because they are conservative and are starting to crank the boost up to 21-22psi. SOOOOOO STOKED!!!

Concrete numbers tomorrow but they are hoping around 440-450whp easily on the mustang which is right around 500whp on a dynoqueen!!! haha. More updates tomorrow people thanks for being so patient!!!

So the truth does come out you did want more hp! You are to funny you were saying my numbers were unrealistic or whatever. Now your're stoked about possibly hitting 500. Some people are just hypocrites and can't see other people do well.....jealousy is a bitch
