I read in the GrandTourismo website that the online server will be open from Dec 25....we can probably race online (up to 16 people) after this date.
For the GT5P , apparently the HK verison is being delayed .... currently i am still trying to confirm this but varies rumors are Mid Jan ..... , will update once i do know....

And yeah the Online Modes will be starting on Dec25th for up to 16pp (probably through a PATCH or download on Playstation Network)

After driving some more with the Car, me and my wife thinks the Brake Pedals feel quite soft (too soft), and the feel is not as direct or accurate ... (we think)

And the braking power , well i havent tried Hard breaking or really tested out the real breaking power .... but it seems that with the power(HP) of this car , the brake power should be a bit more than it is now .....

Any brothers feel the same way ?

I drive only a 320i so it's not really an apple to apple comparison. I would say that if you brake hard you will probably realise that the stock brake is a decent one. The car can be stopped from high speed in quite a short distance. I say this because I just tried it a few days before, when I applied so heavy a brake that the tires screamed (but the ABS did not kick in) - the car stopped nicely in time.

Whether the brake is soft or not I think is something relative to the brake that you are used to in your other car(s). Some adjustment would certainly be required.

As to brake dust, take it easy - you will soon find that they are too much, too annoying, and you will soon find the stock brake pad very disgusting.

Agreed with N. In case this is your first BMW, find a good location to really try and feel how good your brake can do to you and your car. From my personal experience (some stupid ones) with my first BMW, you have to trust your BMW on its ability to come to a stop... of course I am not saying you always brake at the very last split-second...

I think you are too humble to say that t could smoke you. When I spoke to him today I was told that yesterday night he was smoked by you and Hill to the extent that he had to give you guys a call to ask that you guys stop and wait for him
N, I am interested to wait for the feedback from you if moving to 255 at the rear. I agree with t that the look should be better with 255. I might follow as my PS2 is already half of its life.....need to be replaced in 2008.

t is humble tooo....I tried his black bullet that night and find it very responsive and quick after down-sizing to the new 18". I was faster that night solely becasue I and Hill are familiar with the Tuen Mun HW.

k,

That nite, u were only driving the "soft front" bad alignment version of my car.
i had it all fixed the next morning, had falback to a lowered front,
and went for the best pro shop for the best realignment I ever had.
The frontebd was immediately felt much firmer and sharper. You must try my car again!

You (&Hill) were very fast, i wasn't too humble.....I am just scared and even more scared with a soft head
.......must practise that rd again another nite.
Hope my license won't get suspended.

Staggered set up? Need to consider to migrate to coilover and Patrick is right, the lightest rims (ps/2) you need to get.
Mind to stage a budget for a major facelift covering aero kit?
t

Quadro-Exhaust
(4 pipes depend on installation sophistication, but I should take the more
aggressive ACS Rear Spoiler or the M-Sport CF Rear Spoiler instead of the Kerscher one)

Side by Side Looks:

The Black Diamond E90 is ready for a major 2008 facelift:

The last things to get will be a CF Shark Fin and the CF Side Mirrors soon as they have stock.

Btw, I have decided to remove black BMW emblems completely as these are the only traces
that I own a BMW. Will keep the blue and white colors as they give a higher contrast than
the black and white emblems, so the blue also harmonizes with the blue Abalones.

I don't know how easy to fine the same blue color safety belts, so they stand out in the interior too?
