Amber or Clear?

Installed some Solaris bulbs for the side markers and front signals and they blink amber. The color is not as yellow nor as bright as OEM, but they look so good in the daytime. No egg yolk. I also have a Solaris set that blinks clear/white. My friend told me that was legal (in Calif) , but I'm not 100% sure. Do you think the Clear blinker color looks more impressive or the Amber blinker is better?

BTW body is Titanium Silver.

definitely clear/white. as far as it being legal in cali, Im not so sure about that. As a matter of fact i think its illegal in Cali. But... you shouldnt let that bother u at all man. Cops in cali have more serious issues to address then blinker color lol. Just roll how you want to.

I'll see if I can get a vehicle code reference for the front signal light. As for looks, I guess the clears have it. I went for Longtrans LED side markers to try out. I'll switch out the Solaris Ambers and install the Solaris Clears this weekend.

Completed the change to the clear/white front turn signal bulbs and LED side markers. Looks great. The front signal lights looks a little dim when the xenons are on, but is sufficiently bright when the signal/hazards are on. Not much to photo except white lights so I didn't bother. The LED are as bright as the the amber OEMs. I still gotta check how well these lights show up during the day.

Daytime turn signal is barely noticeable from the side. Looking straight on is ok but dim. LED Side markers blink bright enough during the day.
