My 330d M Sport Fully loaded

Back in november last year i bought the 330d which had been advertised on ebay with very little extras so i bartered the guy down on price and purchased.
on my way home i was buzzing, the drive was nice and felt solid, even more solid compared to my previous bmws but maybe it was the mind playing tricks due to another car being bought.
i noticed the car had electric memory seats and a few other extras not mentioned so i knew i was doing well and the toys just kept apperaring like logic 7 even though i did not know i had it. i counted 8 speakers in the car and Bmw main dealer said i should have more and there was (11 in total).
i took the car straight to the local bmw specialist to have the privacy glass removed from my other bmw and put into the 330 and whilst it was in there i startred hunting round for lci bits to do the conversion again.
I sourced the bits and the fun began again, trips to the paintshop, down to the indy and main dealer for bits i could not find along with the stress.
The front and rear conversion was completed along with a performance diffuser and back to paintshop for rear bumper painting to blend in with other new painted parts.
next came some folding lci mirrors to complete the bodywork which were like gold dust to find.
I then found some pre lci xenons so back to stealers for level sensors and brackets for the indy to retrofit these.
i sourced a set of leathers at a bodyshop in honley local to me which he had tried selling on ebay but never sold before xmas and relisted in march so i bought these after alot of haggling, but had to have the memory removed from the network in my car to accomodate these and have the heated part wired in along with rear doorcards cut due to having rear door speakers.
I then uploaded a thread on the forum titled my nearly fully loaded 330d and Mega pointed out although the mods were in good taste and not hideous it was not fully loaded as it had a basic stereo but he did not see logic 7 in my sig and no nav so i had to get the nav done for 3 reasons, to finish the car and make fully loaded, to prove a point and to add value and a bit more pleasure to the car.
So this was on my list to do.
Not being completley happy with the fact i had pre lci lights on a lci converted car i hunted down some lci adaptive xenons and had these fitted which was not so easy due to the fact the dynamic modules had changed on lci cars so more work needed over a couple of visits and the Vo of the car had to be changed along with the production date.
mv4`s were added to change the whole appearance of the car and give a more chunky meaty look along with rear lip spoiler.
Then finally came the nav after waiting nearly 4 months finding bits and having the indys time available it was retrofitted leaving just the voice activation to sus out but if he dont suss it i have a cic system to fit in its place.
Below are 2 pics which are before and after.

Chris you are mod Champion here. True inspiration for us. I have followed same pathway, but no where near to 'fully loaded'.

Jeez did that really end up cheaper than just buying an LCI in the first place?

In that case, fair play

Out of interest, what's the story behind your garage list? there seems to be a lot of similar cars rather than a natural progression in terms of age or spec?

Yes an LCI would have cost perhaps 20k but would have been newer and therefore worth more come resale time. Depends on how much of your expenditure on mods that can be recouped but may still have been cheaper to buy the newer car.

Having said that you clearly enjoy sourcing the bits and modifying which is fair enough.

With the benefit of hindsight I will probably just spec my car right in the first place next time. The annoying things I should have fitted were electric seats, bluetooth and auto wipers/headlights and possibly upgraded sound system. Not a lot then ha ha!

Well done mate allot of hard work and determination has gone into that.

I had the pleasure of seeing the car pre sat nav install a few weeks back and was very impressed.

Are you still thinking of getting a remap?
