Ok so looking at it now, I have selected my 10 days of tracking.
Starting in May and ending in late August...
Now all that is left is to officially sign up.

Hey Guys,

I hope that winter is leaving you enough time to prepare your cars for the coming season. If its all ready then, time to save up for some beloved track time.

Last season, the ASE Lapping Club brought something new to the field in Quebec under the name : Hybrid Days. Think of it as half the day is a school and the rest is lapping. I would like to thanks all of you who participated last year and all the instructors who made this possible.

This year, the ASE Lapping club is proud to add to our calendar a couple track days and hope you can all join the fun.

We are trying to gather the more experienced members of our club on different tracks in Quebec and Ontario. On the menu this year : Tremblant, Calabogie, Mosport and Watkins Glen.

We will be only accepting a maximum of 60 participants for each day. There will be two groups: Advanced and Intermediate depending on their track experience. Sessions will be of 30mins.

Dates and Track for 2010

Mosport International Raceway June 24th 2010
Calabogie Motorsport Park July 14th 2010
Le Circuit Mont Tremblant August 2nd and 3rd 2010 ** Invited by COMSCC
Watkins Glen International Raceway September 14th and 15th 2010 ** Invited by COMSCC
Mosport Internation Raceway October 11th 2010

**For Tremblant and Watkins Glen, the registration forms will be up in a couple weeks

I will add the three single day events which are lapping days. The other two, I had already added in HPDE with COMSCC.

BTW that format looks very interesting. I had already put myself down for the one at LCMT. Hope more of us will join in.

Updated lists are on post #40 and 42

I'm going to do as many CMPs as I can this season. I just cant get enough of that track. I'm trying to break 2:37 now, down from 2:44 at the beginning of the season last year.

Where do you stay when you go there? Oh, and you wouldn't go there for 1-day events... right?

Tony, do your thing!

Book me for Tremblant July 2 and Calabogie August 6
I highly recommend Tremblant with the BMW Boston group. Im definately doing Tremblant with Boston club again this year.

Personally , Im in for ALL of the Tremblant dates with BMW Clubs and will decide on others. ICAR with Viperclub for a sesssion or two but places like bogie are just too far... I will have to decide on those later.

I wish i had the patience to drive all the way to Mosport , Watkins and Bogie.

Although I like LCMT and ICAR, there are few courses as fun as CMP in the North East as close. The one or two day open lapping event with 3Balls at CMP will be definitely up your ally. Last year I was one of the least powerful put-puts out there and I had a blast. Nothing like being out gunned by a sup-ed up pickup truck and S2000.

nb: CMP is 2.75 hrs away. Faster if I drive behind Ken.

LOL! I would be pretty intimidated by those rockets passing me by! Hey, I might still join you if my new (future) suspension set-up kicks ass, or else all I would be thinking is how fast I am destroying my front tires and be all wimpy. I know I might just be imagining everything.............

Non staggered with decent rubber will help a ton. Your damper/springs have to be better than my KWv3 setup. If you have a camber kit or any of the M3 front end bits, that should put you way ahead. Hope to see you at CMP.

2.75 hours is FAR for a one day event.

LCMT is only around 60 to 75 minutes. That I can handle. 3 hours each way is rough.

My knowledge of this is very limited. IN HPDE events, you need to pass the "broomstick" test.

And I think all other events also have this rule.

Maybe others can chime in..

BMW and Audi clubs dont but you should look into the other ones. I believe Viperclub does although JGalaxy can comment further.

There is nothing that I have been to that permits convertibles without a roll bar. To date I havent seen any roll bars or 4 or 5 point roll cages for the E9X. I am sure they must be out there.

You can always rent a car at ICAR or CMP.
