CF Interior Wrap Question

Hey all,

Just got my cf interior wrap from pyspeed today. Was wondering though, if i use the 3M adhesive and put the wrap over it, will I ever be able to take the cf off and have the original trim look good?

Also, where do you buy this spray adhesive?

most hardware stores carry the 3M spray adhesive. I've taken the wrap out after 2 days with adhesive remover with no problem but not sure about long term though. The fabric looks really good and I don't think i will take it out unless it discolors or something in the future. g'luck.

Ya there was a thread on this a few weeks ago, someone took there cf off and within a few min of using go-gone the trim looked good as new. I think he had it on for awhile too not just a few days

Yup I had mine for about a month and then I decided to take it off using goof off. It came out really easily. IMO, stock is better so I would try to only wrap one piece and leave it on for a couple of days to make sure you like it first. That way, you don't waste your time wrapping the whole car and then taking it all off again.

Why did you not like it? And what wrap did you end up going with?

I have removed wrap that has been on for six months. You can restore it back to factory with acetone. It will not damage your interior pieces. In regards to the adhesive, make sure you buy one that is suitable for your climate. There is a posting on the forum that uses 3M Super 77. This one will melt in temperatures over 100 degrees. If all else fails, contact truCarbon, truCarbon@yahoo.com. They know what they are doing, they specialize in CF wrap for BMWs. Good luck.
