In certain ways yes. The acceleration is addicting and the GT-R can get over it's heft by brute force. The M3 was so much more civilized, rode better etc. Hard to explain, the GT-R handles like a razor blade but the M just felt better. I also love and hate the attention that the GT-R draws. Just different rides. I should have maybe kept the M as my daily but I love crawling over NOLA potholes with ease in my F150 and it's a shame that the electronics (SYNC) in the ford blows the other cars out of the H20.

It's been really tough but I've been fighting the urge. I've lost so much $$$ in the past modding cars and I can't even begin to be able to push the limits of the stock car. It was a treat to go to TX2K11 and see the fastest GT-R's run. I have this disease where as soon as I get one car I am already shopping for the next one. I'm not there yet with the GT-R but who knows what may tickle my fancy one day. My wife and I will be building a new home in the next year or so, so maybe that will keep me occupied. The GT-R is still to civilized and under warranty to go crazy on at this point.

ps I do want a UGR TTG bad !

[QUOTE=ACEE;10334397]agree to disagree. I'm going to be flushed. But I will still run the right size tires 235 and 265. Over the last month or so I've learned a lot. And you can have a natural cambered/flushed look. 1) BMW STOCK already runs their tires with negative camber, 2) when you lower your vehicle you will have SOME negative camber. Depending on how low your car is depends on how much negative camber you will be able to get rid of. Sara I doubt if you want to be hella flush.

She isn't going for that look. Problay a Flush look like mines. Just teaching her some basics of dropping the whip. And as you for Johnathan. You needa tuck that bad boy with a negative 3 chamber lol. Thats what I used to have but my toe was off so My inner rubbers rub the hell off causing it to POP. Now im back to negative one. My bud found out we're allow to adjust our chamber up to negative 7 if we wanted too. Thanks to the suspention on the BMW.

I love the GTR's.

If I were to get a tune, i'd take it to TopSpeed in Atlanta. There is an active member in the M3 section on here that's making over 600whp with "bolt on's" and a tune done by Doug up there on his AWD dyno

OK BR CREW LISTEN UP!

Me, Ian, Alex, and Ben all want to go for a drive on labor day. We will be back in town around noon and would love to go and drive, plus my 335 needs a reason to get out of the garage. We are going regardless and I was hoping clayton you could hook us up with a route. Add you name to list and see if we can get a group together on this short notice, NOLA people welcome too. And I know no one has work so thats not an excuse.

I say we head out around 11am and do the St. Francisville route. I have heard good things..

Clayton we need a V8 with us.

If I rains in the morning I say we set a time of 2p.m. We'll leave @ either 11 or 2, whichever time has the least amount of rain threat...

Me, Alex, and Ben's flight doesn't land until 1155 so we can't do it until after that.

FYI.. some models have this GOM Low Pressure system making landfall as a category 1 hurricane on Labor Day. You can pretty much count on it being a strong Tropical Storm.
