Think I Messed Up...
Okay so i just got done changing my oil and while attempting to reset the service indicator light my dad accidentley reset the front brake pad replacement warning.
Soon as this happen it throws "BRAKE" up on the dash and has the red car on a lift. Now when i go back in to reset it has ------ in place of the mileage and now has BOTH fron and rear indicator warnings up both displaying ---- for the mileage. I replaced the back brakes a few thousand miles ago and when i reset it was fine and calculater the next mileage untill replacement. Anyways, has this happend to anyone before? Any tips on getting this figured out? |

You need to trick the computer into thinking that the brakes have been replaced. Go buy a new sensor, removed the plug in from the box in the wheel well, NOT THE CALIPER. Then go through the normal reset and it will trick the computer into thinking the pads have been replaced. Return sensor when finished
At least this is what ive read. Please inform me if I am mistaken |
