I read in a review by formerboostedis on n54tech that you need m3 shocks if you get a CF hood for a 335.

Mark, those AngeliBrights were actually an easy install (and I'm a noob DIYer). They are considerably brighter than the stock angel eyes, at least in my garage.

I think that is as close as you can get to the LCI angels without it looking like a blob of light (like the HID angel eye bulbs put out).

M3 hoods are lighter than the 335 hoods, an I'd have to say its lighter than the 135i hood also.

There should be a few options as far as hood shocks out there.
