Trying to install aftermarket tips and need to know what size the outlet pipes are on the exhaust tip side on the OE mufflers.

I lied- 3 inches. If you're going to go aftermarket, you could probably go between 3.5 and 4 inches, depending on how aggressive you like it. Do you have an M-sport diffuser, or any kind of diffuser?
I would take that into account as well. |

I know that's the size of the tips themselves, but the piping that leads to them from the bumper is different. Our OEM exhaust tips are a kind of slip/clip-on cover system.
I already have a quad tip setup on a stock muffler, but I'm selling a pair of oval exhaust tips that have a 2.25" inlet diameter. Trying to find out if those will weld onto the muffler's tip side. |
