I'm looking to get into a e90 and I just test drove this car. It drove nice and had it a really clean exterior. Im going to have the care PPId at a stealership on Monday. What do you guys think of the car? Good deal?

There's also this one that I found haven't checked it out but the guy sent me more pics and the car looks real clean. For the 335 the dealer just lowered the price so they aren't going to go lower on that. With this guy I may be able to make an offer. What do you guys think?

Based on looks the 330i. I thought it was a 335 until I read the ad because it looks like mine.

I would go for the 330i. Fewer miles + more reliable + sport package

if you can drop the price on 330 i would get that. reasons are no sport package and no warranty on 335i

Is there a reason for a Sedan over Coupe? IMHO the Coupe is far and away better looking that the Sedan in either version.... Even if you get the 328 version which is a lot less expensive and less of a headache maintenance wise.. Just a thought.

I'd go with the 335i if they're the same price. That's actually a really good price on that car and it looks like it might have some CPO warranty left over from the previous owner.

No sport pack means no oil cooler which means walk away.

if you dont care for sports pkg and oil cooler and will use the car for what it is which is a very fast DD, then the 335i is actually a great price. no sports pkg so not as sharp, but also dont have to worry about RFT's getting damaged. fairly low milege. i would say 335i. i know that 330i engine is great too, but trust me, there is nothing in the world like N54 engine... so much power, so much push.

I would go for the 335. That's a really good price for that car. I have a 335i coupe from 2007 46k miles and I still have CPO until summer/2013. Only issue I had since I bought it (20k miles ago) was the HPFP failure, which is under warranty until 120k miles no matter if it's CPO or not.
If the previous owner got the car from BMW after the original 4 year warranty expired than the car should be CPO.

So, since the in-service date is ~May '07, there should be a year a few months left on the CPO warranty.

Since you live in the chicagoland area, I'd like to first invite you to the regional forum and in particular the fairly active chicagoland chat thread. Alot of good guys with alot of knowledge and local connections.

Regarding the cars, alot depends on your wants/needs/$. I don't think that you can go particularly wrong with either unless your needs don't suit the car.

I too bought an 07 e90 335i with no sport package etc. I had my reasons though...kids, dd, probably not going to see the track for awhile, knew I had $ to burn on mods anyway.

In the end, I got a the bmw perf front bumper and skirts, wheels and coilovers to offset the lack of sport package. To this point, I have not missed the sport package or oil cooler at all. My only disappointment is the fact that I cannot install the bmw perf seats I want without issues.

I will be getting an oil cooler that is twice the stock one this year because I want to upgrade my tune.

Again, it all depends on your situation.

Not because of how I may or may nor drive it, but because if the fact that the turbocharger bearings and seals have been cooking in super heated oil for tens of thousands of miles already.

Are you a gambler? Those odds SUCK.
