Focal crossover settings
Putting new Focal krs100 speakers in and was wondering what people are setting the two switches on the crossover to? Will be installing a JL 6/600 into my E93 and I really don't want to take the door panels off to make a change if I don't need to..
Thanks, ML |

It looks like that crossover has a cut for the tweeter 0, -3db and -6db. Also a midrange setting...mid flat and mid high.
Never had a crossover with midrange setting but it sounds like flat is flat and mid high is a little brighter? Tweeter attenuation is personal taste. I have different speakers and have the tweeters set to -3db. From what I've heard about the focals theyre a little bright soooo.. But ultimately its up to you, whatever sounds better. |

I was going to say you might want to do -3db on the treble, since Focals are supposed to be a little harsh, and because of the tweeter placement. For the mid I would probably just keep it at flat.
