New to detailing, how are these products to start?

These are the products I was looking at: Dodo Juice 'Born to be Mild' Shampoo Meguiar's Quik Clay Starter Kit Poorboy's White Diamond Dodo Juice Diamond White Kent Q2429 2-in-1 Microfibre Noodle Wash Mitt x 2 Meguiar's High Tech Applicators Twin Pack Kent Q6600 Microfibre Towel Pack (6 Pieces) Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Tyre Protection Gel Meguiar's Tyre Dressing Applicator Pad Poorboy's Wheel Sealant any recommendations on products? other things I need (other than two buckets ) |

a machine polish will bring out more gloss and shine than all the waxes you top your car with...I'd start it out with at least a one step, or a two step if needed and then start waxing to your hearts content

Thanks Re the Dodo juice. seems liked by a lot of people.
Regards the Meguiar's High Tech Applicators Twin Pack, will they be okay for applying White Diamond and the Wax? |

A couple other quick comments: 1. For claying check our ONR, it's very very cost effective clay lube. I like dodo juice born slippy as well. I like both of those better than the megs kit, but a lot of detailing is personal pref. 2. Tire dressing is very much a personal preference but I find the megs to be way too shiny. Personally I like Prima Nero but again if you like a lot of shine then maybe the megs works for you. 3. You didn't list any interior prods, for dash/plastics Einszett Cockpit Premium is a fav of mine. 4. Wheels, you may want to pick up a good wheel cleaner like Sonax Full Effect |

In the end product selection was: Soap: Dodo juice - born to be mild Clay: Meguiar's Quik Clay Glaze: poor boys world - White Diamond Wax: Dodo juice - Diamond White Tires: Meguiar's Endurance High Gloss Wheels: Planet Polish Wheel Seal + Shine |

Looks great man, white can take some work to be impressive. The PB White Diamond is one of my favs and is super easy, alot of glazes can be a PAIN to work with! Might I suggest that next time you detail, spend some time with a nice polish before you glaze it up with the White Diamond. Don't get me wrong, white diamond is a polish of sorts but it's more on the glaze side of things and really fills in and enhances what you've already polished. Either way your ride looks sharp!
For interior I love PB's Natural Look, it's good on every surface, water based, easy on/off and smells money. None of this "ohh don't get over spray on the glass on leather cause it will spot up" |
