After seeing the rally as a child I always wanted:

Lancia Delta Integrale - still a beautiful car today and would have to be in the martini colours
Metro 6R4 - terrible looks but pant-poopingly fast (hence they got banned)

and in the same way you found your mates 40-something mum attractive when you were a kid:

Jensen Intercepter

Metro 6R4. I was offered one of the last made by the factory for really stupid money when they were trying to get rid of them. One of the guys I knew had a twin turbo one that made about 750BHP and ran to 60 in 1.8 seconds.

Regards

Chris

Totally amazing car I always wanted one.

Any car that can keep up with a Super Sport motor bike 0 - 60 has to get maximum respect

They were very cool. The noise inside was likened to being in a jet fighter (not that I've been in one of those) with a V6 engine doing 8000RPM and three foot of exhaust per bank sitting just behind your seat.

If only I'd taken up the offer, but I didn't have a £13K at the time. I've still got the original sales folder that was sent to me.

Regards

Chris

Always fancied a V6 Clio. Lack of insurers willing to insure me put me off.
