JB4 Stg 2 w/ Meth feels slower than Map 7 with 100 octane RG
As the title says I recently installed the WW BMS meth kit. Running this on map 3 with a 35 additive. I compared this to a tank full of 100 octane race gas running map 7. The boost targets are supposed to be similar but I swear the map 7 performance is better. Anyone else have similar observations?

there could be many contributing factors here - believe me, I have been through many, if not all.
First - Logs.... Log a Map 3, 3rd Gear 2k-7K without hitting the kickdown - SEND TO TERRY. I could look at it as well. Second - What mixture are you running? 50/50? What Firmware & Interface? What is your scaling set to? We got additive at 35 (pretty low). If you have a 50/50 Distilled Water/Methanol ratio, then your scaling s/b @ 60 and additive at 45 for the Map 3 log. Third - Hijack the Oil Temp cluster to check your METH FLOW. Low meth flow is a COMMON problem and there are numerous ways to FIX this. On the Oil Temp gauge, LOW meth flow will look like ur temp gauge hits 230-240 CONSTANT through power band 3600-6000K RPM. It should be around 275-280. Answer these above questions and we will try to help.

Thanks guys. I'm running the latest firmware from 7/12 with a 35 additive and Boost Juice which is 49%/51%. When I highjack the oil gauge the methflow goes to a 100% reading reliably so I don't think its the flow. I'll have to check the scaling since it's at the default setting which I don't remember. The difference is not huge but I feel map 7 is stronger. I'll do some logs ASAP and post them up.

additive 35 is very small, but before any changes we need to make sure you are dialed in correctly. Be safe logging! ;-)

I think I found the problem. THe meth scaling was set to zero by default. Set it to 60 and things feel much better. Not sure what would happen with a setting of zero but the car feels much better now. Still have to get some logs.

Make sure your in map 3 also. And raise the boost safety to 18
