6MT 2 stage rev limiter/stutterbox

Yes, I've searched all the applicable threads I could find. There seem to be vague references to a 2-stage existing in the Procede and JB4 but very little hard facts. The information may be out there but just buried in a blizzard of 6AT launch control discussion.

So, has anybody done this yet and can I buy it today? I saw a bit of discussion that suggested there might be a problem doing it on the BMW because it might create a misfire error. Is that proven to be true?

I have a ton of experience in this area on Mitsubishis. I created the code in the dsm-ecu group that retarded timing while on the limiter originally coded by TMO that simply lowered the normal rev limiter while the clutch pedal was in. I've done hundreds of launches this way and broke lots of parts. I bought a 335xi 6MT last weekend specifically to be able to do the same things in a newer nicer package than my old 91 GVR4. So I know this risks...where do I send my money?

I'm not familiar on how it works with Jb4 but I know the PROcede Rev 3 has no lift shift and anti lag for MT. If you want it we got it. It's been out and plenty people have it and there are videos scattered too.

OK, can you please point me to where the feature is documented. I see on Shiv's site that he claims to have something with a name that suggests it might be what I want. But I have not found discussion or video that showed me for sure that what he is delivering is what I want.

I want to be able to select the rpm that the rev limiter is lowered to while the clutch pedal is in. Adjustable timing retard under the same conditions would be nice but isn't a must-have.

Sincerely, thanks. I've searched quite a bit the last few days and didn't find that thread.

the NLS for the JB4 is documented on N54tech.com. Mods, apologies in advance if N54tech is not a permissible site to direct someone to.

OK thanks, all the JB4 threads I found there seemed to be dozens of pages of other information and I wasn't searching for NLS, I was searching for 2-stage or stutterbox. Never found what I was looking for.
